| Jaden is a member of SCI NW Chapter along with his brother and Dad. He loves school and is very involved it the Cub Scouts. It was Jaden's first hunt. He just turned 8 yrs old in February and I had talked to him about going hunting for his 8th birthday over a year ago. I asked him what he wanted to hunt for and right away it was, PA PA I want to shoot a pig. A couple weeks before the hunt I took him out shooting and he did great. Started out with a 22 Marlin and went up to a 243 Remington Youth Model. He was ready! 2 weeks later the hunt was on. His dad, Dan and little brother Jake, went on the hunt also down to Clover Creek Ranch, in Ashwood Oregon. The pictures show the end result. Had a great time and I am very proud of my grandson. Thank you to all that helped and were there. Especially SCI member, Mike Scriver for all his help. Congrats on your retirement last week, Mike. |
