Sensory Safari 2010

SCI Northwest Chapter members, Mike Price, President Bob Stallman, J. Alain Smith and Bob Brisbois attended the

Washington State School for the Blind annual track meet and worked at the Sensory Safari tour in May. Over 100 blind or

disabled children attended the event and toured the permanent Sensory Safari Museum located at the School for the

Blind in Vancouver, Washington. The Museum which includes over forty mounts, including many life sized, utilizes both

Braille and a sound system that allows the children and adults to read and listen to interesting facts about the animals

they are allowed to touch and feel.
